Your Visit

Complimentary consultation

Call (517) 278-7246 to talk to one of our friendly staff members and make an appointment for a free consult ion.

What to expect the 1st day

On your first visit to our office you will be greeted with a warm friendly smile from the staff. Then you will be asked to complete a health history form (save time - download the form and bring it with you). Once you have completed the health history, you will have a consultation with the doctor to discuss the cause of your problem and what they will need to do to determine if they can help (x-rays, examination, etc.). If they cannot help we will be honest with you and refer you out to the appropriate specialist, we have several which we work very closely with. If our doctors can help, they will give you choices and options as to how you would like to use our office. If appropriate, our doctors may begin treatment for you after explaining your condition or problem.

What you should bring to your 1st appointment

  • any insurance information you may have
  • a picture ID or driver’s license
  • any X-rays / MRI’s or other testing if applicable
  • print and fill out the Patient History form (optional-this form will also be available when you arrive.)
  • auto and work comp information if applicable

What to expect the 2nd day

At that time we will discuss any health insurance coverage if we haven’t already done so. *Please remember, any benefits quoted are not a guarantee in coverage and/or payment. This is a courtesy given by our office. The patient or guardian is ultimately responsible for any services rendered to you.

The second day is very important because the doctor will go over the results of the tests with you. He/she will show you the examination results and x-rays along with a detailed explanation that you can understand. At that point, they will give you choices and options as to how much care you want.

Routine office visit

We realize that you're busy, and we respect your time. The first two visits take the longest, between 20 – 60 minutes. On the first day, we want to do a thorough analysis to determine the cause of the problem. On the second visit, they doctor will go over your x-rays with a detailed explanation. Future visits will not take as much time, typically only 5-10 minutes.
