Our Facility
We are Branch County’s most state-of-the-art Chiropractic Facility. We are equipped to handle almost any non-surgical spinal problem imaginable.
Spinal Rehab
In 2006, Great Lakes Chiropractic added a Spinal Rehab Center. This unique addition is fully equipped with the most advanced spinal equipment. Our technician Darcie has a master’s degree in athletic training. She evaluates and treats our patients under the supervision of our doctors. Her programs, from beginners to advanced, incorporate physioball exercises, stretching machines, The Spine Force, and an array of MedX Core Spinal Machines.
Digital X-Ray
These machines offer the best possible image in an instant – with minimal radiation. Digital Radiography offers even greater tools within the computers. Images can be manipulated so that our doctors can make the most accurate diagnosis. Original images are easily stored on computers and copied to CD’s in moments if second opinions are needed.
Therapy Tables
Great Lakes Chiropractic is the home of several therapy tables. Intersegmental Traction, Long Axis Traction, and Flexion/Distraction. These tables are a useful tool for the appropriate condition and can sometimes make a difference in the successful treatment while under the supervision of our doctors and staff.
Inner Discal Decompression
The most advanced, non-invasive way to treat herniated, bulging, and protruding discs and other spinal related problems such as pinched nerves, sciatica, degeneration, and low back pain. This is a computer controlled mechanical stretching of your spinal column. It is 80-90% effective for patients who have been properly selected and comply with the Spinal Disc Decompression protocol. Just like any other tool, it is only as good as the people and facility using it.
Treatment Tables
These top of the line tables “adjust” to accommodate people of all different shapes, sizes, ages, and conditions. They can drop, separate, move, and slide so that our doctors can use different techniques for different condition including pregnant women.
Massage Therapy
Mandy Carpenter is our very own Nationally Certified massage therapist. She also has a certification in Pregnancy and Prenatal massage and has additional training specifically for low back work. Her room is equipped with a height adjustable heated table with extra soft padding, heated lotions, dim rope lighting, vaulted ceilings, calming music, hot aroma therapy towels, and fresh fruit.
Waiting Area
Our waiting area has an amazing 400+ gallon saltwater reef aquarium with an abundance of comfortable seating. Our kids area has a custom painted underwater scene, two kids play tables, and a T.V. Even though we have a great waiting area, we strive to see every patient within 10 minutes of your scheduled appointment.
